Hi everyone,
It’s so nice to meet you virtually! This is the beginning of something beautiful, and I can’t wait to share it with you. Helping others move, heal, and live a healthy lifestyle has always been my calling. Teaching comes in as a close second. So, without further ado (drum roll, please)… I’ve started my wellness business: Attaining Alignment!
If you’re looking to understand your body (because let’s face it, everyone’s got their own unique set of quirks) and learn how to best care for it, I’m here to help. My background is as diverse as it is deep, with extensive experience in personal training and a degree in health science. But honestly, the most valuable lessons I’ve learned have come from working with people, listening to their stories, and practicing, practicing, practicing.
I truly believe your body is a miraculous gift. It runs countless physiological processes without you even having to think about it. Your gift to your body? To move it, nourish it, understand it, and heal it with care and compassion. In my philosophy, aka Bri’s Blissosophy: love, understanding, and acceptance of your body form the foundation of living a blissful life.
The Pillars of Blissosophy
1. The Body: Your Foundation
Your body is your home, and understanding its unique needs is the first step to true wellness. Movement, nourishment, and healing are essential acts of self-love. Together, we’ll uncover your body’s patterns and create a personalized plan to help you thrive. Whether it’s through yoga, personal training, or Qi-gong, I’ll guide you to reconnect with your body in a way that feels empowering and sustainable.
2. The Mind: The Master Key
Ah, the mind. That tricky, neurotic roommate we all live with! It’s a challenge to navigate, but once you start observing its patterns and becoming a witness to your thoughts and emotions (instead of being consumed by them), life begins to shift.
I have an extensive background in meditation and mindfulness, and I help clients work through their aversions and attachments to find contentment. There are so many techniques to rewrite the mental scripts and rewire the brain, thanks to the magic of neuroplasticity. And guess what? Practices like meditation and yoga are scientifically proven to promote neuroplasticity by:
- Increasing BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) and other growth factors
- Reducing stress hormones like cortisol
- Enhancing connectivity in brain networks involved in attention, memory, and self-regulation
The mind is the most influential aspect of our lives, and strengthening “the watcher” (your inner observer) is essential. Together, we’ll create a guided routine tailored to your needs, helping you reclaim your power and clarity.
3. Connection: Your Higher Self, Your Community, Your Higher Power
The top pillar of Blissosophy is connection and spiritual development. Whatever your belief system or higher power may be, it’s welcome here.
Connecting with our community is so important, especially as we age. Nurturing authentic connections with people in similar life chapters and mindsets, can allow us to flourish and thrive. When we are connected to the greatest parts of ourselves, we can share the high vibe version with our inner circle. That’s a great way for us to find fulfillment and meaning in our lives.
Did you know that Harvard research found individuals who engage in regular spiritual practices experience better health outcomes? They also have greater longevity and are less likely to develop depression or suicidal tendencies. It makes sense. When you focus on something greater than yourself, you’re less consumed by your own worries. You also think less about your stories and dramas. You start to see the bigger picture. You might even realize you’re just a cluster of minerals flying on a ball in the middle of infinite space. Liberating, right?
Spirituality often gets a bad rap for being “woo-woo,” but I take a grounded approach that blends science with soul. As a Qi-gong healer and ThetaHealer, I work with the body’s energy systems (meridians and chakras) to detect blockages, restore balance, and open energetic channels. For example, did you know it’s harder to lose weight when your root chakra is closed? Or that an overworked liver can be linked to a blocked meridian? These systems are powerful, and I’ve witnessed incredible transformations through these modalities. If you’re open to it, I’d love to guide you on this journey.

Blissosophy in Action
Here’s my take:
- Seek Western medicine for acute pain, trauma, or serious injuries.
- Seek Eastern medicine for chronic conditions and proactive health.
Western medicine treats symptoms; Eastern medicine addresses the root cause and offers a holistic, preventative approach. Together, they create a beautiful balance.
The Ultimate Goal: Bliss
In yoga, we call it samadhi: a state of pure bliss. But the goal of life isn’t to chase bliss; it’s to remove everything blocking the bliss that’s already within you. Inside each of us is a flow of shakti: a warm, delicious, ecstatic energy that’s just waiting to be uncovered. My role is to help you clear the clutter and reconnect with the vibrant, joyful essence that’s already inside you.
I hope this gives you a glimpse into what I’m all about. Whether it’s through movement, mindfulness, or energy work, I’m here to help you align your body, mind, and spirit. And who knows? Maybe one day we’ll walk through a glorious landscape together—aligned, thriving, and blissful.
When we align our minds with wisdom, our hearts with compassion, and our actions with purpose, we create a life that flows effortlessly.– Brianna
